Quick and easy make.

My mods:
1st and last stitch of each row through both loops.
27 rows (28 including set up row.) I believe I crochet with average tension so I’m guessing I reached desired measurement at 8 rows less than pattern calls for due to thicker yarn and possibly the designer being a tight crocheter.

My measurements for the hat lying flat before seaming: 8” top to bottom by 13” across side to side

Notes for more clarification: I seamed by folding in half with beginning tail on the left side top. After ss closed in blo, closing top of hat, and weaving in ends, I turned hat right side out and folded brim up.
