I tried so many stitch combos alternating the two yarns because I thought I wanted stripes, but had to keep frogging because I didn’t like any of them. I only have 4 skeins of the Ombré Hues, so I don’t think that would be enough for a throw, but maybe close. Any way settled on holding the two yarns together and using a 6.5 mm hook. Hoping final size will be around 40 x 60, but looks like it might be a bit shorter.

It turned out ok. Not my favorite in doubling the yarn, it would catch every so often and leave a little bit of a loop. Maybe should have sized down on the hook. Also rows of just hdc never look ok to me. I feel like it’s very obvious if your stitches are not absolute perfection. The only thing I see iwhen I look at the blanket is the ever so slightly bigger holes. Stands out like a sore thumb to me.
