Intswemodo 2015 #4

This could be a rather quick test knit if I had more time to devote to knitting. However, I’m quite sure I will finish before the deadline. It is a very quick knit, with fingering weight yarn.

So far, I have not found any errors in the pattern. It’s easy to follow and well-written.

I did a little experiment with the bottom sides. I am one of those knitters who is a lazy seamstress, so I knit the front and back together on one side, thereby eliminating the small side seam. It worked, and there was less flare as compared to the side that I knit according to the pattern. However, I wanted to stay true to the pattern so I frogged my little experiment and knit the front and back separately. I seamed the sides and will stick with the pattern from now on.

The mesh lace portion was too baggy when I knit it the length called for in the pattern. I ripped out about an inch.  It was 5.75 inches unblocked, and I blocked it to 6 inches. It fits perfectly now. It must be my short torso. :)
