I was so looking forward to this KAL. I’ve been wanting to start this sweater, and this KAL is the perfect excuse. I hope I can finish before the end of the KAL.

I’m making some progress. I’m working on Section Five. I love how Junko lays out her patterns. The chart I have to knit is on the same page as the instructions so I don’t have to flip pages back and forth. It all lines up perfectly.

Section 7 has an 80 stitch repeat. I broke it down and used more markers because I’m worried about missing a stitch.

My second skein of Round Table seems a lot darker than my first skein. They didn’t look that different at first. I’ve decided I can live with it. I’m working on Section 9.

I finally split for the body and sleeves. I haven’t had a lot of knitting time, but I try to fit in a little bit here and there.

Starting section 14. If I want a longer sweater, I’m going to have to add some ribbing. I was thinking about adding another stranded section, but I decided against it.

I’m working on the bottom ribbing for the body. I hope to start on a sleeve today as well. I enjoy working on this sweater, and I’m a bit sad to finish it.

I was able to finish the color work on one sleeve in one day. The ribbing seems to be taking longer because I’m trying out my 8” ChiaoGoo circular needles. I’m still getting used to them. I need to relax and not hold them so tightly. They feel slippery to me so I hold them too tightly.

I’m taking a break on this because I need to work on some test knits.

Finally finished my test knits. I’m trying not to volunteer for any more tests right now. I would like to finish this sweater. I finished one sleeve and the bottom ribbing on the body. I’m slowly working on the second sleeve and then I’m done!

Finally finished. It was a joy to knit. It really shouldn’t have taken this long, but I kept putting it aside for other projects. Now, this hot weather needs to end so I could wear it.
