Mods I made:

• I added some short rows to the back to lengthen and help it hang better on me. I have broad shoulders and no hips. Wider on top means that some garments “flare” around my hips. Unless I’m going for that look, I don’t want that. Not the fault of the pattern, it’s always me. ☺ I am an inverted triangle.

• I made the arms longer. I usually have to add on an inch or two to accommodate my long arms.

The pattern is easy to follow. I liked the way Connie designed the collar. That was my first time knitting one that way. Completely seamless and I didn’t have to pick up sooooo many stitches as per my usual way of adding a collar and front band.

I usually give a little soak to a sweater in order to block. It helps the yarn to bloom. I also did a steam block on the lace front. It helped open it up and show off the pattern.

I alternated yarn skeins, but I don’t think I really had to this time. All the skeins were pretty close in color. I alternated anyway, just to be sure.
