Test knit for Nessi, her Forest Laughter.
I’m testing this in square! Started with size 2 dpn’s and CO 8,
Round 1) Knit around,
Round 2) placed start marker, “k1, yo” around
Round 3) Knit around, knitting all yo’s through back loop (16 stitches)
Round 4) “K1, yo” around
Round 5) Knit around, knitting all yo’s through the back loop. Place marker every 8 stitches. (32 stitches)
Started chart A at row 3. (Skipped rows 1&2)
Moved to size 3’s starting at row 33.
After chart A: I have 244 grams left.
After 100 rows, I have 170 grams left.
After 155 rows, I have 81 grams of the 4th ball left
After 156 rows, I have 79 grams of the 4th ball left.
After row 187, I have 24 grams of the 5th ball left
After row 194, I have 94 grams of the 6th ball left
After BO, I have 77 grams left
Notes:
The first 3 skeins balled together are 315 grams total.
4th ball has 105 grams
5th ball has 103 grams
After chart A: I have 244 grams left
After chart B: I have 63 grams left
After chart C: I have 80 grams of the 5th ball left
After border (large size) I have 94 grams of the 6th ball left
After BO, I have 77 grams left
Ball 1 ended on row 85.
Ball 2 ended on row 123.
Ball 3 ended on row 150.
Ball 4 ended on row 172.

Nupps: On rows 1-90 I used the knit after the 7wraps method.
On row 91- I moved to the knit the 7 stitches together through the back loops on the next row method. I like this a little more, as they are tighter. (But there is no WAY I’m frogging 90 rows to change all those nupps. The difference is minimal)
