Have now ripped out twice. This Lima is really DK weight, so will do a granddaughter, it sure won’t fit my enormous head! I have ordered Drops Nepal which is more Aran weight and will make a second hat for myself .

Hat completed and my darling husband has said he would like…..his head is smaller than mine, so it fits him well, though it also fits me too, but I prefer a looser hat or I get a headache.

The picture shows both my hats, the green one is the one described here. The pics on the glass dummy heads show the hats before I have washed and blocked them, so the stitches should even up much more after I do that. More pics post blocking to follow, hopefully modelled on the real dummy heads!
