I am coming to this project shortly - must be good and finish the one before it, ahem! I shan’t mention all the other WIPs on the go.

Have ordered 6 colours in Cascade 220 Aran to see which 3 I like best together, this to wear with French navy quilted dog walking jacket. The first pic of the skeins is taken in full sun the other in dull lighting. These are all lovely colours of blues and lilacs except the dusky pink, although the 2 left hand skeins look like grey they are not.

Finally, have made a start and selected my 3 colours of wools, all shades of lilac/purples/lavender.

On checker board section now, and moved onto next lot of boxes. Slow knitting progress with puppy!

All done and now drying. Stupidly I noted that I was to change down to smaller needles for the corrugated rib, but omitted to do so! therefore I do not have such a good funnel shape at the top.

Very much enjoyed this class and feel I have finally mastered colourwork with Mary Jane’s super class.
