Blog notes in link above have been helpful. Finally now into the swing of this and have a feel for the stitch pattern which should help keep me on track. Pic of start of yoke uploaded today along with gauge swatch.

Onto PUKs on neckline today, the end is now in sight. This should have gone a lot quicker but I have been getting my mother’s house ready to go up for sale, which has taken away a lot of knitting, along with being Mama to our new puppy!
60 cm cable for doing cowl in the round with my Addi long lace needles, 100 cm cable on body.
Uploaded photo of sweater laid out on the lawn today, the sleeves look so long as of course, they are not turned back to form the cuffs. The colour is pretty true in this shot though.

At present all photos show sweater unblocked, it is now in a tepid bath relaxing, will post some outside shots of it being worn post drying.
Finished and thrilled. Had planned to make this in winter white but fell in love with this grey blue, must now knit in off white. Fit is perfect. I am a UK size 10 but like my sweaters to be sloppy, this is neater fitting than normal for me, yet so comfy, love the stitch pattern and enjoyed the neck shaping, which just takes a calm and measured approach, very clever design.
Made in the Drops Nepal, which here in the UK is £2 per ball, this also represents a very good value knit £2 x 12.5 balls = £25, goodness knows what an Alpaca/wool mix sweater like this would cost to buy ready knit. I live in Argyll Scotland, and this sweater is made for a specific weekend at Port Appin near Oban, though it will get lots & lots of wear everywhere else too. Fab.
