Notes

This is a design I’ve been working on for months!!! And hitting some roadblocks…a permanent work in progress.
As of yet, there is still no final pattern for it (key word “yet”).

I originally designed this cardi as a top down, contiguous set in sleeve, cable/lace panel piece (which is how the finished FO shown is worked).
I have since decided that it needs to be worked from the bottom up, as the written chart is kind of a disaster…well, actually its pretty well thought out…but it looks like it was created in a lab. I just don’t think it something people would want to use as a guide. Plus, there’s no room for individual size modifications as the shoulder increases are built into the lace chart for each size….
Alas…it is back to the drawing board.
Even if this takes FOREVER, I will write this pattern successfully!!! yes.

However, I do like what i have so far, so really, I’m just showing it off :)

Cardi is open front, no buttons, 3/4 sleeve, and cropped to the hip bone. The final design will retain those characteristics.

Let me know what you guys think so far please, I am open to ideas and crits.

Thanks!
