Notes

This basketweave pattern is a good chance to use up anything that floats around and cannot be part of a specific project.
I combine yarns from one to 12 threads (cone yarn) that will match to be worked with 7mm-hook.
The strands will be blended with a thin thread of mohair to smoothen and a polyester thread.

09.02.2018

20cm to knit: eventually I’ll finish the blanket next week.
Some of the yarns are more than 30 years old, the latest spent at least two years in a friend’s stash.

11.02.2018

I finished the blanked shortly after midnight and gave it a machine wash in water with 40° C.
The fibers connected well, some shrank and felted a bit what I have anticipated.

The project is for charity (AMPO again).
