I needed something better and faster for getting the vm out of the cleaned fleeces and preparing them for spinning.
After much research, I found I could make a set with some hard wood and 3.5” finishing nails, and a little know-how in the woodworking department (thankfully I listened and enjoyed my woodworking classes in public school).
Voila! My blending hackle and comb.
Total cost: $16.00 plus a few hours of manual labour and minor woodworking skills.
