Notes

I gave this bag a medium difficulty rating, not because it’s difficult to execute, but because my method of assembly is quite involved. Easy assembly methods for a windmill style are available in numerous places, but my method cuts it down to two seams which gives the bag strength and caters to my dislike of connecting pieces.

The bucket/hobo/windmill styles are really my favorite bag shape. So much so that I’m planning an entire collection based on this theme.

When I finally finished this bag, I loved the style, but I’m kind of tired of this purple, so I gave it, and the Blog Collection scarf (in pink) to my roommate.

This prototype was made using repurposed yarn. It was purchased as a second, so it was already a castaway. But after using it for a project that merely got stored away in a box, I decided to frog that project and reuse the yarn for this.

I will be making it again because I’m planning a book of Blog Collection handbags and accessories. I might just keep the new one.
