Swatching- unwashed is 14 sts and 20 rows

Washed swatch. 13 sts 20 rows in 4 inches

I’m going to have to swatch again using a 6.5 mm needle

Change of plans: I’m going to carry on. I dove into the forums and many say that the seed stitch grows in width and especially in length. My SIL is petite so I think it’ll be fine. I don’t want it to drown her.

Ripped! It measured 22” across and the fabric puckered around the cables.

Started over on 6.5mm needles. This looks better. A gentle stretching brings it to 26”. And the cables look better.
