This is a Christmas ornament I made for a gift exchange on the Knitting is Gluten Free Group on Ravelry -- for ktouton, a very active Knitting is Gluten Free member who I (and all of us there) appreciate most dearly.

I used Cascade 220 wool and Filatura Di Crosa Fancy held together. The sparkle in the Filatura Di Crosa Fancy added a nice holiday touch.

My friend’s initials are K T, so I purchased K and T buttons to use to anchor the straps, and I purchased a Merry Christmas button to put on the front and back. The K and T look a little crooked here, but they straighten easily with a touch.

Buttons are from Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts.

The magazine: I printed a sheet from an online book page that showed the book cover in miniature. Then, I laminated the page and cut out the magazine mini-photo.

This was a fun project to knit. I loved every minute of it.
