I ended up using two skeins of red -- my row count was off, which made my shawl much larger than the pattern called for.

I nicknamed this my Bazooka Bubble Gum shawl because the red, blue and pink remind me on the Bazooka wrappers from when I was a little girl.

However, when I blocked the shawl, I intentionally used very warm water, and the colors bled a little (which is what I wanted), to make the overall color more subdued. I love the way the colors blended.

This shawl came out so large, I had to block it on my bathroom wall!

My youngest daughter loves it, thank goodness.

One of these days, I really need to learn how to count.
