Cast on two extra stitches and, at the beginning of each row, slip one, purl-wise.

Note: The pictured scarf is in Malabrigo Rios, Purpuras. I am still in the process of finishing the Pagewood Farm Rainbow Sherbert.

For the Malabrigo (worsed weight), I used four pattern repeats. For the Pagewood Farm (sock weight), I am using all the repeats called for in the original pattern.
