This pattern works with any bulky or super-bulky yarn.

The Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride Bulky was a great choice for this hat -- it made a VERY sturdy hat with a nice heft to it. It is a little harder on the hands to work this on a US 10 - 6.0 mm, but it was well worth the effort.

Note: While this hat can be worn immediately after knitting, the hat really “pops” if you block it.
