All right, it’s done! It took forever to dry, and I might have to block it again because I’m not sure I’m happy with the size of the hood… Anyway, it’ll be for next winter now! :)

It’s going slowly but smoothly… I’m knitting flat, and still have about 50 rows to go before I add another ball of yarn for the hood… Very easy knit so far!

Ok, it’s official, I HATE the Magic Loop technique! I had to start this 5 times until I could finally see what I was doing.. I ended up putting markers every 4 stitches because I hate to count and this was the only way to see what I was knitting. Granted, after 4 or 5 rows, it’s easier than dpns, but before that it’s just a twisting and bunching dren.

Anyway. I’m now on row 6 and for now it’s going smoothly… we’ll see when I have to start knitting it flat and adding another ball of yarn.. It’s the first time I knit anything with a more complex shape, so we’ll see.
