July 11 All done! Can’t get any FO pictures yet, because my daughter has headed out of town, and she took both cameras.

Definitely doable to finish a glove a day, and I was able to finish with just one hank! I had maybe 7’ or so left over. Using 2 needle sizes made them fit just right.

July 7 First glove done -- these work up really fast. If I hadn’t decided video games and bed were more important than making a thumb, I could have had the first one done in a day.

I thought it would have turned out too large if I continued with a US 8; at row 11 or 12 of the pattern, I went down to size 7s.

Not sure I’ll have enough yarn to finish both, but I think there’s a chance I can eke by with one hank. Maybe. Fingers crossed.

July 6 All of my other wips use fairly small needles, and I wanted a bit of a break from that.

Looks like these might be coming out a tad large though. Maybe I’ll give them to someone with larger hands?

Not sure what I think of the yarn -- it’s beautiful to look at, shimmery, feels nice… but on the other hand, its splitty, scrunches up on itself if you’re not careful, and gets fuzzy when its frogged.
