Update 24/8/13
I finished this a couple weeks ago but had not blocked (I needed to clear floor space!)
Love the 2 colours now (was little unsure Pre-block) and adore that shetland texture!

Very long, but that’s how I like it!

I have had to lay this down for a little while. I have run out of wool…which means a trip to Jamieson & Smith…which is dangerous, given I have spent my yarn budget for the year at Woolfest.

So excited to be knitting the first pattern from Doggerland!
i am playing about with gauge on Jamieson & Smith supreme shetland, I fear it might be a bit too heavy, but I love garter stitch in this wool!
Also toying with the idea of knitting the edging in a lighter shade of the Supreme shetland. I do love those Shetland colours!

The name makes me think of Ronas Hill in Shetland, where there stands a Neolithic chambered cairn at the summit.
