The chart was really easy to remember and work ONCE I PUT IN A ZILLION STITCH MARKERS. I tried doing it without the stitch markers and good god, what a mess I made. So 17 stitch markers were needed, which were a pain in my ass to constantly be slipping. But whatever, I did it and got it done and it looks good. The end result looks a little more like plaid than I expected, but it is still nice.

As for the brim, I couldn’t be bothered to do the fussy brim as dictated in the pattern, so I just did a ribbed brim. Looks good.

Overall the hat isn’t perfect, but I’m hoping that Abe likes it none the less.
