FINALLY DONE! I actually love the finished product. I know I complained and whined about how tedious it was getting to be but I really think it was worth it. This is a really really nice item. I currently blocked it to be sort of bat-wingy which looks cool but I think I may reblock it to be rounded.

So… Much… Stockinette…. I am HELL BENT on finishing this stupid thing and I think it will look nice but man alive, what a boring knit! I have 20 rows left to the pattern and that feels like a hell of a lot.

Project has been on hiatus for most of the summer but I made some progress on it this weekend. Dear God this is a tediously huge amount of stockinette, and I love stockinette! It continues to look good but man alive, it is boring to knit. I need to just hammer at it and get it off the needles already…

Soooo much stockinette! I love how this is looking and knitting up, but I’m taking a wee break from it. Working on some other smaller, faster projects. I’ll come back to it soon. I’m making it for a pregnant friend, so I do have a bit of a deadline…
