I’m making this afghan for my husband as a belated birthday present. Unfortunately I only picked up 3 skeins and it looks like I’ll need at least double that.

I ended up having to pull everything apart and start again due to the fact that I couldn’t find enough of the High Meadow Stripe yarn. In the end, I’ve added some green and brown bands with the stripe bands inbetween. I think it actually works better this way. There is about only a foot left to go!

Well, this project is temporarily done. It’s exceedingly long but it’s not wide enough. One day I’ll get around to making the widening strips to go on either side, but I’ve got other things I need to work on now.
