I was just playing around and came up with a simple scarf that has a nice border look to it. Since it is not finished I have more to the pattern I will probably be doing. I’m using a size 10 (6.00 mm) afghan hook. Here is the pattern I have so far:

Chain 21
In next chain do one basic Tunisian st
18 Tunisian purl st
End row with one basic Tunisian st

YO, draw through 1 loop,* YO draw through 2 loops* (till end of row)

1 basic Tunisian stitch
17 Tunisian purl stitches
2 basic Tunisian stitches

Yarn over, draw through 1 loop,* yarn over draw through 2 loops* (till end of row)

1 basic Tunisian stitch
1 purl stitch, 1 basic X 8
1 purl stitch
2 basic stitches

Yarn over, draw through 1 loop,* yarn over draw through 2 loops* (till end of row)

1 basic Tunisian stitch
1 basic, 1 purl stitch X8
3 basic stitches
