Notes

After I volunteered to teach a class on the Tunisian stitch to The Chain Gang, I went home and grabbed some yarn from my stash and made this basic scarf as something I could teach my guildmates at my class.

Pattern as follows:

Using a Susan Bates size 10 US 6.0mm Tunisian/Afghan hook

Ch 10+1
10 basic tunisian stitches
yo, draw through 1 loop, (yo, draw through 2 loops) till end of row
-make as many rows as desired
On last row, finish off by doing sc in each loop

Edging:
start a handful of rows on one side and make shells:
1 sc, 1hdc, 3dc in same loop, 1hdc, repeat
due to how many rows you have it might not pattern out right. I try to make the corners the 3dc if possible.

If I actually do the proper calculations to figure out how to do it right I’ll update here.
