I am following JessieP’s fatty herringbone cowl exactly with different colors. Gold and purple/black.

Casting-on 80 stitches with one full twist on 32” US19. I wish I had known to cast-on tight, the beginning is a little flared.

I didn’t follow the pattern for the bind-off. Instead of binding off the last round I worked it as normal and then used a crochet hook to chain up the stitches. This works well for herringbone stitch because the stitches are packed close together and the fabric is not very stretchy.
