In Lily Mills periodical Practical Weaving Suggestions vol 1-71, “Huck Variation,” the author mentions a fine 6 shaft spot weave that inspired several drafts of 4 shaft huck weave. But they never pictured the original 6-shaft weave that inspired the huck weave. I thought that the 6-shaft spot weave looked interesting, so I’m giving it a try unseen.
Side note: I laced on the warp to the cloth bar. Not because I needed to, just to try out the technique. Pretty cool.
Side note #2: I installed steel rails on my loom to hang my Leclerc clip temple. This is the first time I have used them. They worked perfectly.
