Photo 8: I have taken a fine merino wool yarn in double, used needle 6 and casted on 84 stitches to join in the round.
Must be a multiple of 4. First 2 rows in k2/p2 and then a false cable every 4 rows on the section of k2.
Made this pattern already on other projects and never on cowls.
Like it! This one went to my husband.

Photo 7: my second cowl with this false cable pattern. With needle 4 and single yarn (half acrylic, half wool) , casting on 100 stitches, joined in the round and knitted like above, making the false cable every 6th row. At the height of ca. 15 cm I stopped the false cable and slowly increased k2 to k3, then ahead p2 to p3 and at the end p3 to p4. This cowl is knitted top-down.

Photo 5: I have knitted another cowl with double yarn (merino) and needle 6; casted on 80 stitches and am using the pattern of the moss stitch, in the round.

Photo 4: Started on 17 Dec.2017 another cowl in single thread, needle 4, with a seeded column pattern, in the round. Casted on 105 stitches. Yarn= ALMA sPORT 55 IN A TWEED COLOUR, NR. 1074.

NOTA : x S. (inizio 2018) fare uno scaldacollo più stretto, ma elastico, stile coi ferri 4,5 e un cast on of 84 stitches. Poi k2/p2. Lana gomitolone Adriafil. Larghezza dello scaldacollo piegato in due = 22-23 cm. (inizio 2019 : stessi ferri, stesso cast on, ma con drops fabel preso doppio. )
