Have knitted these bears already several times before. See them here:

Want to knit some teddy bears again now…
Under construction… I Will embroider the faces and add some clothes at the very end.
The Brown bear Is of another construction, like visible on photo 2. Experiments.. The beige And green bears are crocheted with the ‘Pooska cat’ pattern. Easier to do than the knitted garter version and I like the Final result. Lenght of the open arm = 11 cm. Lenght of the open leg = 9 cm.
Lenght of the open body only= 34 cm.
Now I made a crochet version (hook nr.3) with the pattern stitch of the Pooska cat (=even number of stitches (body 16 st., also the legs have 16 st., open, while the arms are with 8 st.) and then: 1 dc, 1sc and repeat. Second row the same, but always the sc above the dc and the dc above the sc.). Model like the brown example in the photo. Easier to be made then the knitted garter pattern and I like the final result.
11-1-2020: I already crocheted 5 bears with the ‘Pooska cat’-stitch pattern. Easy to do and they have a good look.
On 1 of the photos a first trial for a bear dress, crocheted sideways. Can be bettered…
As a matter of fact I bettered this dress in a sideway crocheted skirt and top on a second bear.
29-1-2020: crocheted already 3 further teddy bears, that need embroidery and some cloth too. Will post photo’s when finished.
