Photo 3: on the right side the first I knitted with this yarn = the coloured body, made with a type of chenille, is knitted in garter with needle 7,5, and used sideways. Then, with the help of a hook, I picked up stitches and knitted (needle n.6)vwith the woolen yarn in garter stitch upwards. Tail knitted also in wool.
On the left I knitted upwards, with less stitches and needle size 9, while the woolen yarn, with a double thread, is knitted with needle 6. Much better, I believe.
March 2017: I am knitting other cats , using a 100% polyester yarn for the lower body, just like I did in my projects on photo 2, but this time the yarn is thinner and of only one colour. First cat done (photo 4)…
July 2017: other two cats knitted, similar but a bit bigger then the one on photo3.
December 2017: in the meanwhile I have knitted 3 other cats. Easy and satisfying project!
September 2018: on photo nr. 1 two other cats.
December 2019: i am knitting another cat (nr.8), with a mix of wool and acrylic Beige-brown. Started another one (nr.9) in double thread cotton in grey tones and white. The embroidery of the faces has been done on the 26th of December. The white-grey cat has another tail, made of an i-cord with 5 stitches. These two Cats are 23-24 cm high. I have finished another cat (nr. 10) in wool and acrylic in beige-dark brown, present on photo 2.
On photo 2 the third small green cat is of another pattern i will mention soon: Beans the Cat by Linda Dawkins. I only made the ears differently.
On photo 2 a whole cat family. The violet one is from the hooked pattern ‘Pooska the Cat’.
