Here's the back of my steek....the ends have been folded back onto the knitting just for you to see where I'll be eventually cutting....and the ends can just be cut off also....no weaving

My 10 stitch steek...stitches 1 and 10 are the "edge" stitches (done in the background shade) (yellow) Checkerboard across the steek stitches...dropping off an old colour after stitch 5 and starting any new shades on stitch 6....leaving the ends hanging on the back! Cut up the middle (red)
