Inspired by the official pattern, but totally adapted for different yarn weight, stitches and technique of working both sides mirror image, stripes use Fibonacci numbers.

Make one side from each direction and join in the centre to better control the width of the top and location and depth of the neck opening. Consider joining so it can be worn both sides out. The Inside looks great!
146 stitches, 50 rows each side. Joined with a flat sc seam in 4 mm hook.
To add weight to the hem, I added 3 rows of sc with a 5 mm hook.

June 2022: since I lost a lot of weight this top was way too large now! Because of the way it was put together in the centre front and back, I was able to remove all the brown yarn, bind off the white edges and seam the front and back again for a better fit.
