calls for roly poly yarn (100 grams=342m) which is NOT aran weight?
Got gauge with Estelle Sock it to Me yarn. 20 stitches and 20 rows. Thdc is 10 cm.
Started with a chainless foundation row of hdc. Cut yarn. With right side facing, turn chain and pick up the stitches which formed the leading edge of the 2-stitch rows.

Separating zipper stitched in.
