September 2016: with permission from the original designer, I will write up this pattern for TC. I have two testers so far: Anita and Melatia.

August 2016: Altering the pattern slightly due to the size of the yarn and hook, compared to the original pattern.
Foundation row: multiples of 4.
Side edge increases: every 2nd row.
Using both cakes, one from the inside, one from the outside. Changing colours at beginning of return pass on angled edge.
At the centre line I had used 275 grams of the total 650 grams, about 40%.
Slots on row 14 plus 14 for six slots.
Finished size: centre line 88 inches, starting edge 83 inches, final edge 108 inches. Side edge 57 inches. Width across slots is 44 inches
Wear with slots on left side of body, fits 2XL to 4XL.
Able to wrap points around back, could be toggled together.
Not as flexible as the knitted version.
Starting chain begins at west edge of slot side. Slots are at west end of scarf, point is at east end. Yellow corner is the last few rows.
I will be making smaller, looser versions of this shawl.
