Making a crochet vest inspired by the Misha & Puff lake house vest ↓

Winging it as I go, using no pattern (I can’t read crochet patterns anyway): it’s basically a big granny square with extra stitches on the sides, shoulder straps and a border all the way around. I will fit it on my kid every now and then to estimate the size.

I’m using all leftover worsted weight yarns in fall colors.

It’s finished and it has loads of imperfections, I will never get to the level of detail I get to with my knitting, but I love how this has turned out and I’m proud of myself that I could make this, as a non-crocheter slightly_smiling_face

I’m really eager to try it on her to see how it will fit. She’s already very excited to wear it since she saw it drying on my blocking mat, so that’s promising. I sure hope it will look cute on her.
