I knit the back panel of this vest when my oldest daughter was still a toddler. I never found the color combination I hoped for in my leftovers, so I never knit the entire garment. Now I do have a color combo that I like, so I will give it another go. Very excited to finally make this!

This lovely thing is flying off my needles! I almost forgot how quickly dk/worsted weight garments knit up after knitting all the fingering weight stuff.

I’m really liking the result so far! It is entertaining to knit, an interesting construction but with some mindless knitting parts too.
