Notes

My very 1st potholder - wohoo! Can’t believe I never knitted one before. smiley The instructions are very easy to follow. Perfect for a a quick one-evening project, especially for Fall/Halloween season.
For the colors I chose a mix of orange and rust to make the pumpkin look less cartoonish.

Had so much fun and knitted more pumkins. The lighter colored, bigger one with some light orange cotton yarn I found in my stash.

For the bigger sized pumpkin I went down half a needle size (5 mm), but casted on 11, instead of 9 stitches and adapted the increases accordingly. That lead to 5 ridges, instead of 4. Plus, because of the slightly broader width, I added 1-2 cm length to the orange part (during row #11 and #12) and 2 extra rows during the green decrease part (knitted green row #5 and #6 2x).
