Doing the “Insert Coin” screen. I like this project - I almost want to make another one with different colors and the “Game Over” screen, but it’ll be a while. I have a lot of other things to work on. Plus, intarsia. Those stars drove me crazy, though I didn’t have any issues knitting them.

First time doing intarsia! I also did duplicate stitch for the first time. After finishing the cabinet part, I decided I didn’t like the blue star in the middle of the big star and filled it in with yellow duplicate stitch. It doesn’t look too bad. Also, decided not to put eyes on it, so it’s just a normal plush arcade machine rather than a super cute plush arcade machine with eyes.

9/8/14: Finished! It’s a little wonky shape-wise, though I did get some dense foam to help make it sturdier than if it was just filled with polyfill. I probably would have had this finished a week ago, since all I had left was the i-cord trim, but I put it off because I was tired of stitching stuff together. Anyway, it looks pretty good! Now to figure out where to put it…
