Legs and Body
3.5mm hook - I change colours in the centre of the back.
Rnds 1 - 38: Black.
Rnds 39 - 44: Yellow.
Rnds 45 - 73: Starting with black, work 6rnds of black, then 6rnds of yellow til you reach the neck….then change to your chosen skin colour for the head.
Arms
3.5mm hook - I change colours on the inside of each arm so that the row changes are less obvious.
Rnds 1 - 10 (Hand): in your chosen skin colour.
Rnds 11 - 16: Black.
Rnds 17 - 49: Starting with yellow, work 6rnds of yellow, then 6rnds of black.
I added cuffs to the sleeve, neck and bottom of jumper - make lengths of foundation hdc to desired length and stitch in place

Beanie/hat
I made a standard beanie using some fuzzy black yarn.
Antennae
I twisted a fuzzy black chenille rod (pipe-cleaner) and poked both sides up through the Beanie, stitched in place.

Wings
I worked using a light grey yarn held together with a silver metallic thread.

Stinger
Using black yarn,
4sc in a magic ring.
3rnds of sc.
Rnd 4: (1sc, inc) x2 (6)
Rnd 5: (2sc, inc) x 2 (8)
Rnd 6: (3sc, inc) x 2 (10)
Rnd 7: (4sc, inc) x 2 (12)
Rnd 8: (5sc, inc) x 2 (14)
Rnd 9: (6sc, inc) x 2 (16)
Rnd 10: (7sc, inc) x 2 (18)
Rnd 11: (8sc, inc) x 2 (20)
Finish off, sew to butt.
