Thanks to the current global crisis, stock on the shelves at my local craft stores is low - I couldn’t find another suitable brown yarn for McGonagall’s hat, so decided to go with a black brim and brown for the top of the hat.

l used a copper metallic thread for her glasses.
l added a row of stitching across both top & bottom edges of the brim of the hat to add definition.
l also couldn’t resist adding a little sparkle to McGonagall’s robe with a crystal brooch.
