Sooooo excited for the ‘Rainbow Skeleton’ to be featured on the Ravelry home page!
(Thank you ‘maryheatherb’!)
Some time ago, my ‘Rainbow Amineko Cats’ were featured on the home page and have now been viewed over 10 000 times! Amazing!
It was such an honour to be featured one time, but TWICE?!?!?
I do love a good rainbow…and clearly, and they bring joy to others too! It makes me happy to know that my work makes you happy too.
Thank you everyone.
Linda :)

Eyes
Work the eyes as per the pattern, then work each shell in a different colour. I worked my shells in hdc instead of sc.

Flowers:
I made dark red, red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, royal blue and purple.
Outer petals;
In a magic ring work 3ch, 4 treble, 3ch, sl st into magic ring, repeat (3ch, 4 tr, 3ch, sl st into magic ring) until you have 6 petals, finish off and pull up thread to close the ring - set aside.
Inner petals;
In a magic ring work 2ch, 3 double crochet, 2ch, sl st into magic ring, repeat (2ch, 3dc, 2ch, sl st into magic ring) until you have 6 petals, finish off and pull up thread to close the ring.
Thread the yarn tails from the inner flower piece through the centre of the outer flower piece and stitch in place - sew to skeleton.
Tassels
A length of yarn in each of the rainbow colours (about 15cm long), hold them all together, fold the lengths of yarn in half and hook through a stitch near the top of the skeleton’s head and pull all yarn tails through the loop and tighten. Cut to desired length. Repeat for other side.
