Naked Lady:
Yarn - ‘Bella Baby’ ‘Baby Wonder’ 4ply in ‘Natural’ and a 2.5mm hook.
I used this pattern;
https://amigurumitoys.myeatbook.com/2020/08/19/amigurumi-...
I used 4ply yarn and a 2.5mm hook.
I made her bottom a little smaller…instead of doing 10 increases & decreases, I worked 5 x (inc, 1sc) and 5 x (dec, 1sc).
Hair:
Yarn - ‘Abbey Road’ - ‘The Wind Cries Merino’ and a 2.5mm hook.
I made a basic hair cap, then added a pony tail.
The curls are chains of varying lengths (shortest was 21, longest was 31)…work 2sc in each st along the chain.
I make one ‘curl’, then immediately start the next chain.
Make as many curls as you like, then stitch them all together to form the ponytail, stitch it in place.
Basic Tea Cosy;
Leah’s Rose Tea Cosy.
The base tea cosy I used a large hook and ‘Sean Sheep’ ‘Re-Gen Chunky’ in ‘Artichoke’ green.
Topiary tops - basic ball shape.
I used a large hook and ‘Sean Sheep’ ‘Re-Gen Chunky’ in ‘Sage’ green.
Stems - flat braid.

Row 4: inc, 6hdc, inc, 1ch, turn.
Row 5: working in front loops only 10hdc, 1ch, sl St back across top of pot.
For the larger pot…add another row between 3&4.
Soil - 2ch and 10dc in a magic ring…do not join.
Gardening Tools
Broom
I used a wooden skewer and some pies of natural string. Laid the string pieces against the skewer and bound with so0me matching sewing thread.
I lifted the broom and put a few dots of hot glue into the middle to stop the string bit from sliding off the skewer.
Spade/Shovel
I again used skewers…then made basic rectangle kind of shapes using metallic thread and hot glued them to the skewers. I coloured the skewers with brown marker to make them slightly different to each other.
Garden Shears
I used brown embroidery thread for the handles, then placed a matchstick into the handles, changed to metallic thread…stitched through both layers of the handle - then worked back and forth along the 3 or 4sts that I ended up with to create the blades.
Made two pieces and joined them together.
Flowers
Using various colours, I worked 5 petals to form each flower…
Small flowers - Magic ring (OR work 2ch and make flower into first ch…) * 1ch, 1hdc, 1ch, sl st into ring .
Repeat from to * until you have 5 petals, sl st into ring to finish off. Pull up magic ring.
Slightly bigger flowers - 2ch, 1dc, 2ch, st st into ring.
I used a bright yellow yarn to stitch the flowers to the tea cosy - bring your yarn up through the middle of your flower, tie a knot and thread yarn back down through the flower. Move your yarn to where the next flower will be and repeat til all flowers are in place.
