I wanted a little girl’s shawl pattern but didn’t find one that I liked. So when I saw Lala’s Simple Shawl, I thought it would be easy enough to just make smaller. The picture on the pattern I downloaded showed 6 pattern repeats so I just did 5. And for the larger girl (7 years old) I used worsted weight yarn and a size 9 needle. For the 5 year year old, I used aran weight and size 8 needle. The results are good.
