KAL with Sophie : same pattern, same yarn, same color + Thème D of the kal “cultures de pelotes”

We chose to knit with only 1 skein of fingering yarn instead of the 1.5 required by the pattern.

Keep counting stitches regularly as it’s so easy to have less stitches than indicated (forgotten yo)

Mods :
AFTER section 6, stop doing the first YO on every row 2 (WR). You will have 167 stitches and that number will stay the same until the end.

Knit as per section 16 of pattern until there is no more stitch after center spine stitch = knit Rows1-8 4 times in total, skip “Repeat Rows1-8 once more” instruction to knit New RS Row and Next WS Row

The finished shawl is sill huge : 210cm X 55cm after light blocking

Qui se ressemble s’assemble

mini Kal avec une tricopine de 10 ans, Sophie. Même modèle, mêmes fils, même couleur + Thème D of the kal “cultures de pelotes”

Nous avons décidé de tricoter ce châle avec un seul écheveau de fingering au lieu de 1,5 préconisé

Attention à compter régulièrement ses mailles, il est vite arrivé d’oublié les jetés et de se retrouver avec moins de mailles que prévu ;-)

Modifs :

APRES la section 6, il ne faut plus tricoter le premier YO (jeté) de chaque ROW 2 (sur l’envers et cela jusqu’à la fin). Vous avez 167 mailles jusqu’au bout du projet.

Tricoter comme indiqué dans la section 16 jusqu’à ce qu’il n’y ait plus de maille après l’épine centrale. = tricoter Rows1-8 4 fois au total, sauter l’instruction “Repeat Rows1-8 once more” pour tricoter New RS Row et Next WS Row

La taille finale est honorable même raccourci : 210cm X 55cm après blocage
