I started this in Nov 2011 and ripped it out after 2.5 skeins worked for a couple of reasons. I didn’t like the chain to start and decided to start with a foundation dc row instead of just the chain. I like this much better because it stretches with the blanket.

Also I decided to only chain 2 before turning. The chain 3 before turning looked way too poofed out at the edges.

Timeline

{Dec.19.2011} - going well - have 2/13 worked up.

{Dec.22.2011} - 3/13 skeins done = about 14”

{Dec.24.2011} - 5/13 skeins done = about 23”

{Dec.29.2011} - 6/13 skeins done = about 27” I’m a little worried at this point that it’s not going to long enough for my liking. Time will tell…

{Jan.01.2012} - 8/13 skeins done = about 37”

{Jan.08.2012} - 12/13 skeins done. Almost there!

{May.08.2012} - finally pulled this out and finished the border off - used about 12.5 skeins total. Followed the border exactly except did one extra row of sc. DONE!
