Update: Done! Love the color after overdyeing with navy!

Done except for the buttons and overdyeing. I started with a skein of hand dyed alpaca yarn and ran out before I was finished with the sweater. I had a second skein of the same yarn that I had dyed the same day in a slightly different color. As you can see, the colors don’t quite work the way they are so I am going to overdye the sweater, probably in a shade of blue with the hope that it will end up with a more uniform tone, even though it won’t be the same color overall. We’ll see how it goes.
