I did this as a pattern test for Kristi Tullus. I love her patterns. When I was first learning to crochet amigurumi I found Kristi’s pattern perfect for learning to better my abilities. I highly recommend any of her patterns. This pattern is more of an advanced pattern as there is a lot of fiddly bits.

Yarn: DK cotton-acrylic blend
Hook: 2.20 mm
Finished Size: 24 cm
Eyes: Black 7 mm

Yarn Used

• Medium Brown: 53 grams
• Dark Brown: 15 grams
• Natural: 5 grams

I used buttons inside for the joins instead of the washers and fasteners. I also embroidered the nose with the dark brown yarn instead of using the plastic safety nose. I find it hard to get joins, noses and eyes the right size in New Zealand. I normally order these from overseas which takes weeks to arrive.
