I changed the needle size on this project after looking at other people’s notes on Ravelry. Dontcha just love Ravelry for these things?!? :)

3.5mm throughout and it came out just the right size.

The original pattern had a scalloped edge around the bottom (before the lace panel) but I decided to stick in the eyelets instead (following the same instructions as given for the eyelets-on-a-background-of-purl given later in the pattern).

This yarn really fills out with it’s first soak, parts of the lace looked a little spindly before blocking, but after the bath the fabric is gorgeous!

I’m really pleased with the FO :)
