If I were to make this again I would make the straps much shorter.

I didn’t want to use acrylic so I used cotton. It’s pretty heavy and bulky. Not sure what I’d recommend.

ETA: I removed the first straps and made new ones that are much shorter. I edged them in the brown used for the crab stitching on the final round of the purse. I’m much happier with it now.
